Building cozy things...
Just a moment.
I build cozy interfaces and oddly specific tools.
From organizing messy music libraries to turning GitHub repositories into shareable visuals, I like building software for problems that are just annoying enough to deserve a tool.
A little about the person behind the commits.
Hi! I’m Ava. I like making software that solves annoyingly specific problems, whether that means a polished interface, a local-first utility, or a tiny tool that makes an everyday workflow less frustrating.
I started with visual programming and gradually moved through HTML, CSS and JavaScript into React, Next.js, TypeScript and Python. These days I enjoy exploring the space between thoughtful UI and the behind-the-scenes engineering that makes a project dependable.
Outside of coding, I’m usually listening to music, customizing my setup, organizing digital things, or turning a random idea into a side project. I especially like software that feels calm to use but has more engineering underneath than you might expect.
The common thread behind the projects.
I like solving problems that are just annoying enough to deserve software.
I like problems that are small enough to explain in one sentence but annoying enough that a real tool should exist.
I care about the boring parts too: safe file operations, sensible defaults, clear feedback, and software that does not surprise its users.
Even a technical utility deserves a calm interface, readable output, and a little personality when it helps.
A safety-first tool for reconciling independent music libraries without blindly overwriting metadata or artwork.
Technologies, tools, and platforms I enjoy working with.
A mix of polished interfaces, local-first tools, and oddly specific ideas I decided deserved software.
Turn a GitHub repository into a polished, shareable image with themes, customization, and PNG export.
Problem
GitHub repository links are useful but visually bland when shared.
Approach
RepoShot turns repository metadata into polished, customizable shareable cards.
Organize image libraries by visual vibe using local analysis, confidence scores, caching, and reviewable organization.
Problem
Large image collections are easy to accumulate and difficult to organize by feeling.
Approach
VibeSorter analyzes visual characteristics and proposes reviewable vibe-based organization.
Safely reconcile two independent music libraries with metadata and artwork conflict detection, fuzzy matching, review, and backups.
Problem
Merging two music libraries can silently overwrite metadata or artwork.
Approach
music-sync compares libraries conservatively and requires review before uncertain merges.
A local-first music library cleanup toolkit for metadata, artwork, duplicates, indexing, and reversible operations.
Problem
Music folders accumulate inconsistent metadata, artwork, names, and duplicates.
Approach: Luna indexes the library and provides deliberate, reversible cleanup operations.
A midnight-blue Visual Studio Code theme designed for calm, focused coding sessions.
Problem
Default editor palettes do not always provide the calm, low-distraction atmosphere I want.
Approach: Ava Night packages a consistent midnight-blue palette for focused coding.
A local-first music player with playlists, queue controls, metadata, artwork, search, and a polished interface.
Problem
Local music deserves a player that feels as polished as modern streaming interfaces.
Approach: MusicPlayer combines local playback, metadata, artwork, queues, and search in one focused UI.
